The John Coltrane Jazz Stage is accessible from the 800 block of East Washington Lane near Chew Avenue and the R-7 Chestnut Hill Local SEPTA Rail Station
Local SEPTA transportation near the arboretum includes the XH bus (Washington Lane) and the 23 bus (Chew Avenue), which are each accessible from the Broad Street Subway Line and from connecting routes on City Line Avenue
SEPTA’s Washington Lane Station on the R-7 Chestnut Hill Local Rail Line from Center City and back from Chestnut Hill, which also connect directly with rail service from New York and Trenton, also places you right at the John Coltrane Jazz Stage and only 2 blocks from the John Myers Blues Stage
